An amendment to the Niagara Escarpment Plan (NEP) is required for policy or land use designation changes. An amendment can be initiated by the Niagara Escarpment Commission or the Minister.
Any person or public body (with certain exceptions, such as urban uses) may apply to the Commission for an amendment.
